It all began while on a hike at Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado…

While on a hike at Cheyenne mountain in Colorado Springs with my wife and two dogs Klaus (Coco) and Enzo we stopped for a rest on some rocks. I noticed some milky white quartz with shiny pyrite deposits on the rock we were sitting on. After further inspection, it turned out to be a huge deposit of quartz. A few days later we went back and gathered a small quantity of the stuff and took it home and wondered how we could polish it.

Not long after that I was tumbling a variety of rocks and minerals to polishing them along with the quartz we found. The results were amazing and I was hooked at that point, but tumbling rocks takes forever!

Hooked I then got into lapidary and started exploring some of the amazing minerals and created some amazing cabochons. The cabochons are so beautiful and stunning. But I said, “what am suppose to do with them?” How can I share the beauty of these treasures?

Well next thing you know, am making jewelry! But for me it is and always will be about the gemstone. Jewelry is just a means for getting my work and natures work seen. So my jewelry designs are as minimalistic as possible.

I created this web site to share my passion with others and to perhaps sell some of these treasures so that they can be seen. And of course sell some so I can support this passion and justify the 100’s of hours spent crafting these beauties.

Honestly, if you made it to this website, that is good enough for me. Hope you enjoy it!
